EuroGum

Description

EuroGum is an elastromeric waterproofing membrane, formulated with special Acrylic resins that provide excellent elasticity, elongation and mechanical properties. When applied over concrete surfaces roof and floor tiling, shower trays, balconies etc EuroGum will remain flexible in temperatures of -20 C. Although a thermoplastic, it does not contain external plastifiers and gives good resistant to dirt and dust.

Preparation

Ensure the receiving substrate is dry and free of any dirt, grease, dust, fungus, flaking paint, mould, releasing agents etc. Where the substrate requires a primer, EuroPrime must be applied prior to the application of EuroGum.

Application

Stir contents thoroughly prior to use. EuroPrimer can be brushed, rolled or sprayed onto the primed substrate. To achieve a high quality finish a “wet edge” must be kept during application.

Caution

  • Provide adequate ventilation during use
  • Do not apply when temperature is below 10°C or when drying time is below 10°C.
  • Avoid exposure to steam and condensation for 48 hours after application of final coat.

First Aid

If swallowed, Do Not induce vomiting. Give plenty of water to drink. Contact a doctor or the Poisons Information Centre. If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes, and see a doctor if any irritation occurs. Material Safety Data Sheet available on request.
